• Security orchestration is the core element of the ASTRID conceptual architecture, including both service management and situational awareness. Starting from the descriptive and applicative semantics of a Security Model, orchestration is expected to deploy and manage the life-time of the service, by adapting the awareness layer of individual components and the whole service graph according to specific needs of detection algorithms.

• FI-STAR established early trials in the Health Care domain building on Future Internet (FI) technology leveraging on the outcomes of FI-PPP Phase 1. FI-STAR creates a robust framework based on the software-to-data paradigm and was able to build a vertical community in order to create a sustainable ecosystem for all user groups in the global Health care and adjacent markets based on FI-PPP specifications.

• ExSEC aims at evaluating a set of new components, architectural designs and APIs, related to improving and assuring the security and resilience of network- and application-services deployed in distributed and hosted virtualised infrastructures and targeting different vertical sectors, before porting these to the emerging industrial 5G networks and cloud service providers. ExSEC addresses explicitly the security and robustness of cloud-native solutions.
